Hi Greg
During a recent trip to Sydney it was highlighted to me that a daughter of SA 98 05910 BCPC("Goldmine Cock")x SA 97 46352 BCH has been producing well at the distance for two top flyers. One daughter was placed as a yearling from Launceston to Sydney gaining a top 20 position in the National, and another daughter from this hen was placed from Tweed Heads to Sydney in the CCF. Just thought i should share the info with you as its always good to know what happens to them.
Cheers
Tim Fawcett

Hi Greg.
I have some further news for you regarding the offspring of Mr G, the Grenville Evans cock you purchased at my sale this year. I gave a late bred nest pair of cocks to Gary Church to race and in the VHA Carrieton 830km event on Saturday 20 Oct 2007, one of these took 8th Federation. The nest mate had already taken 17th federation in an earlier event.
A grand daughter of Mr G was 20th Federation VHA 820km last season for me, and this hen is the dam of Gary Church’s 17th Carrieton 830km 20 October 2007, when mated to a son of your Goldmine cock. The 20th Fed 830km hen was off a daughter of Mr G that was placed 5th Fed 700km for me.
And of course there was the good son of Mr G that bred my Parkes Fed winner and another 3 Fed birds in just his first 2 seasons at stock before I sold out.
Mr G looks to be the perfect cross with the Goodger and Dangerfield pigeons, families common throughout Adelaide and the other states.
It is becoming very clear he is an outstanding producer. Distance is not an issue as he is a son of 4th Fed 1000km.
Kind regards
Barry Ward

Hi Greg
Congratulations on your results from Alice Springs. A fantastic effort. Just for your records my flying partner Ray Russell and I  were fortunate enough to attain 2nd fed Murray Bridge 300 miles  in the Western Pigeon federation against 1702 birds at 1112.3 mpm in a north East wind. This hen is bred off a Blue Ch cock  432  that is a son of Red Ch cock displayed on your site  which is direct off Geronimo and the Chadwick hen of John Goodwin. 432 dam's was the Canberra Hen that you know about which is Van loon. I mated 432 to a hen that is inbred to Grenville Evans Braveheart hen. What breeding. Its dam is directly off Grenville's Ref A when Mated to his Honeysuckle Hen and the Dam is a Full sister to Braveheart.( 1st fed Mildura VHA)ie direct off the Honeysuckle pair..
I was also fortunate to clock a cock twice that is off John's Lucifer hen that is off Lucifer and Lucinder. Quality pigeons.
PS I also clocked direct off your Smeulders cock(Bullet Proof and the Terminator pigeons) mated to Vince Cannizo's Lucifer Hen.( Lucifer & White Lightning).
Finally for your South Australian Readers "Go cats "

Hi Greg.
Just giving you an update on some added performances related to Mr G, now at stud for you.
I had a pair of late bred cocks that went to Gary Church in the VHA to race this year. Gary has raced both and up to the end of the 600km racing has had them first to the loft several times. One landed with the pigeon that was 16th in the VHA result from Wedderburn 200km, and this cock then took out 18th Fed VHA from Railton 421km (Tassy) last weekend at 1052 mpm.
A son of Mr G bred several good birds for me the previous two years, including 1st Fed VHA Parkes 600km. John Goodwin from the WPF last year won 6th Fed Trangie 700km with a full brother to the Parkes winner. This cock raced as a 2YO this year picked up 2nd Fed at 400km for John.
Kind Regards

Hi Greg, I just have to congratulate you in your top efforts in the Sires Produce
and the amazing Alice Springs race, it just blows me away what these birds can achieve.
locals here are crying if we fly more than 650kms, but to get birds home from 1200-1300km is unreal
thanks for the inspirations that you deliver in the sport, it makes me so keen for next year.
Hope you continue with your success. best regards FRANK RASCHILLA (scf) Wollongong NSW 10/9/07

Hi Greg, I was very impressed with your set up and especially your birds on my visit on 4th August. I thought your Pryors, as a group, were the best I’d seen. The type and the bodies are excellent and you are obviously doing a very good job of selecting your stock pairs. The fact that you are race testing your birds is not only to be admired (not all studs are prepared to run the risk of regular competition) but also gives me great comfort about your selection methods and I follow your results with interest.
In particular, I like your strategy of quality not quantity. I am only a small team flyer and I work hard at trying to raise the average quality of my stock birds (I only keep 15 pair) and only experiment with a few new birds each year. Regards, Paul Callaghan Newcastle NSW 4/9/07

Hi Greg, I hear on the pigeon grape vine that you placed 5 pigeons out of 6 in the Alice Springs long distance race. A fantastic effort to say the least, congratulations Greg and well done.
